| These are some pictures of our house with the unique features like the flounders on the side of the house and the spraddle-roof with the Carolina porch. And other pictures from around town with a picture of our church next door, St. Paul's Episcopal Church, It's the one behind the old tree. The other church is the CME Church with the dome that came from the first State Capitol in Cahawba, Alabama. The other house is Marengo. It's an old home that was built in Autauga, Alabama and then moved to Lowndesboro. It's owned by the Lowndesboro Landmark Foundation and used for weddings and other special occasions. And there is the garden shed. We grow flowers in the bed by the garden shed and have a large garden on the other side of the house by the barn. We call it a barn, but it's really a garage/workshop/storage building. It seems that the older the house, the larger a barn you need. I'll keep these pictures updated and let you know when you can come visit and help weed the garden.
