| I love to cook. I learned from some great Chefs while I worked at the OMNI Austin Downtown and I am learning more while working now at the Renaissance Hotel in Montgomery, AL. I grew up living in the Azores, Germany, Turkey and Pakistan and loved the local food. My pantry is always stocked with ingredients from around the world. And we ate SPAM. So when I moved to Austin, Texas, I found out that there was a celebration of SPAM called the SPAMARAMA. I entered and have won the Spamerica CUP seven times and appeared on the FOOD NETWORK in an hour show called THE SPAM COOK OFF about the 25th Anniversary of SPAMARAMA. I have several recipes posted on the FOOD NETWORK for SPAM.
I also own three Bradley Smokers, a gas grill and two charcoal grills to test some recipes. I entered in the Alabama Wildlife Federation Wild Game cook-offs with Bob Dickson and Dan Limbaugh and we placed in Fowl and Game and won first in Presentation. We need to win a overall First to go to the State Finals, so we will keep practicing and entering. But the greatest fun is cooking for friends and family.
